So who will make the first "real" handheld computer? Apple. There are very few companies who can design and produce the handheld PC like I've indicated in this article, in fact there are only two. Microsoft is one and I believe that if the Redmond giant ever took on this task they would produce a killer handheld PC.

Tommy, that quote is gushing about Microsoft. Microsoft.
He would much rather that Microsoft created his "super handheld" but since Microsoft only makes mice and keyboards, he doesn't think they will. So, he'll tolerate one from Apple.
And; Microsoft has championed multiple versions of the this so-called "super handheld" including the Tablet PC, Windows CE devices, Windows Mobile and none of them even comes close to being a "super handheld." To assume that Microsoft could manufacture anything better than any of it's OEM partners is laughable at best.
This is the quote that blows my mind: I'm talking embedded Office to go with the embedded OS on our super handheld. That opens so many exciting possibilities that it makes my pulse race when I think of all of that potential.
If Office makes his pulse race, well, lets just say my blogroll isn't getting any larger today.
