Safari Crashes on My iPhone
I just tried to log onto meebo.com to test out the chat capability, but no, Safari kicks me out to the home screen. So, to get back, I click on the Safari button again and it brings up the first page in my list, not the last on that I was on. So, I click the pages button on the bottom right and scroll through again to the last page. Zoom in again and retype my aim username and password into Meebo, hit submit and wait. Yes, it crashes and kicks me out to the iPhone home screen again [no E.T. pun intended]. Lather, rinse, repeat... 5 times in total, you know, just in case.
So I've tried to use Blogger.com too. I tried 5 times again, same result.
It COULD be my internet connection, so I'm going to try it again elswhere, just to be fair.

hey man, this problem is happening to everyone. all you ahve to do is keep your safari history, caches, and cookies cleared every once ina while, and turn the iPhone off about once a week (like a reboot), and the problems will go away.
My Iphone too kept crashing from safari, also google maps and youtube crashed a couple of times. I think its a memory heap issue as we do not terminate an application appropriately. We just hit the home button to exit an app and when we have opened too many things and we do not close these apps, there will be dangling sessions which is causing memory leakage and hence whenever you open an app which needs some memory, the app crashes. So resetting the session by resetting the phone is a temporary workaround for the issue until we get a fix for this issue in a couple of weeks hopefully. Your ipod is the least likely to crash as you ensure that the ipod is not playing a song when you press the home button. It has the appropriate exit functions. So a software patch which will clean up all sessions when you exit an app should do the trick. Hope they do it soon. So till then keep resetting the phone once a day to clear dangling sessions

Thanks for the input, I'll definitely do that. As should the rest of you iPhone people out there.
